Spinney Pupils Attend Writers' Workshop

On Thursday, year 3 pupils took part in Authors Abroad writing workshop with an award-winning author and performance poet Neal Zetter at Freshwaters Primary Academy. The aim of the workshop was to develop their literacy self-expression and confidence and unlock their writing potential. Our year 3 pupils enjoyed the visit and were happy to develop their own writing style.

Neal Zetter was able to impart his knowlegde and encourage pupils to be creative with their poetry. We're looking forward to seeing the excellent poetry our pupils can create now they've seen an expert in action!
