Autumn Term 2024

Hello and Welcome to Pixie Class!

We are very excited to welcome all of our new starters to Pixie class!

This page is designed to provide you with the information needed to make the year as successful as possible.

This half term our topic is Colours in our world and celebrations! We will be exploring colours and celebrations including Diwali and Christmas. The children will be taking part in our Christmas Nativity- Everyone Loves a Baby!

In English, this half term we will be reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?, Elmer, The Mixed up Chameleon and the Story of Christmas. 

In Mathematics this half term, pupils will be looking at counting, patterns and numerals one and two.

In Science, this half term; pupils will be looking at the season of Autumn. 

Wider Curriculum

In Music, we will be learning our Nativity songs and exploring instruments. 

In PSHE, we will be learning about our bodies and how they change. 

P.E- Nursery children do not participate in P.E lessons until the Summer term. Therefore, your child does not need a P.E just yet.
