Performing Arts (Drama, Music and Dance)
Drama and performance are taught as a performance module in each year group.
Performance modules also include dance and music elements.
Studied over a half-term, pupils perform to their parents and families at the end of their module.
Why is the teaching of performing arts important for Cooks Spinney's pupils?
Performing Arts allow our pupils to develop creative passions, they simultaneously will teach children language and communication skills, helping them to communicate effectively and confidently with others.
Pupils have the chance to work in collaboration with their peers and experience the sense of achievement that comes with perfoming live to an audience.
