Easter Challenge
Posted: 23rd March 2016Dear Parents/Carers,
We have a fantastic opportunity for children and families to get involved in a competition over the Easter Holidays called ‘The Easter Challenge’. This competition is based around the National Trust’s ‘50 THINGS TO DO BEFORE YOU’RE 11 ¾’.
Your child will receive a list of optional activities that we would like to challenge each child to do over the Easter Holidays. This is a fun, cheap and exciting way for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors. Activities should be completed with adult supervision at all times to ensure safety.
Examples of things you can do include: go on a bike ride; visit a farm; climb a tree; go star gazing. Children can aim to tick off as many activities as possible.
The class with the most activities completed will win a trip to Frankie and Benny’s. There will be a KS1 winning class and a KS2 winning class.
To prove you have completed the tasks, please take photographs of each activity and email them to:
easter@cooks-spinney.essex.sch.uk
In the email please include:
· Child’s name and class as the email’s subject
· Photographs of activities
· A list of the activities completed
Please send one email per family. If you have more than one child at the school, simply send one email with both children’s details in. The closing date for pictures to be sent in is Friday 22nd April 2016. Please contact Miss Wilcox or Miss Hutchinson with any questions about The Easter Challenge.
Good Luck and HAVE FUN OUTDOORS!
Yours Faithfully
